Pasalnya, video tersebut telah ditonton sebanyak 101,1 juta kali hanya dalam waktu 24 jam.

Lagu Dynamite melampaui rekor sebelumnya yang dibuat oleh girlband Kpop naungan YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK.

Video klip How You Like That dari BLACKPINK mengumpulkan 86,3 juta penayangan dalam 24 jam pada Juni 2020 lalu.

Dilansir BBC, penayangan video klip Dynamite ini mencetak rekor sepanjang sejarah Youtube.

Dynamite merupakan video pertama yang mencapai 100 juta penayangan dalam satu hari di platform tersebut.

Lebih dari tiga juta penggemar menonton penayangan perdana video klip ini.

Jumlah tersebut hampir dua kali lipat dari rekor yang dipegang How You Like That saat penayangan perdana.

Tentang Lagu Dynamite

Dynamite adalah single pertama dari BTS yang dinyanyikan penuh dalam bahasa Inggris.

Melalui single tersebut, para personel BTS ingin menyampaikan aura positif, energi, harapan, cinta, dan kemurnian.

Seperti video klip lagu-lagu BTS pada umumnya, Dynamite penuh dengan warna.

Warna pastel turut mewarnai energi positif yang disalurkan oleh tarian RM dan kawan-kawan yang penuh keceriaan dan semangat.

Lagu pop-disko ini ditulis oleh David Stewart dan Jessica Agombar.

Mereka adalah orang-orang yang juga berkontribusi pada lagu Jonas Brothers, What a Man Gotta Do.

Sementara itu, Dynamite telah menduduki puncak tangga lagu iTunes di 104 negara.

Lagu tersebut diprediksi akan meraih posisi pertama pada tangga lagu Inggris, pada minggu ini.

Namun, sejauh ini, Dynamite gagal menembus 10 Besar Spotify di Inggris.

Diketahui, Dynamite muncul enam bulan setelah album BTS, Map of the Soul: 7, dirilis pada Februari lalu.

BTS pertama kali membocorkan tentang Dynamite pada Juli lalu.

Ketujuh anggota menjelaskan, mereka saat ini sedang mempersiapkan album yang akan dirilis pada paruh kedua tahun ini.

"(Kami) memutuskan untuk merilis single pertama karena kami ingin menjangkau penggemar kami secepat mungkin."

"Karena Covid-19, orang-orang di seluruh dunia telah melalui masa-masa sulit, dan kami ingin berbagi energi positif kepada penggemar kami," ujar mereka.

Rencananya, BTS akan menampilkan Dynamite secara langsung di VMAs MTV pada 30 Agustus 2020 mendatang.
